Our Story and Evolution
Founded in 2015 by Matthew Wheeler, a former professional cricketer who then went on to become one of the most trusted voices in the global sports ecosystem. He was joined by Paroksh Gupta in 2020, bringing in the financial expertise through his extensive experience in investment banking and transaction advisory.
A&W Capital was established with a vision to create a conduit for investors with a growing interest towards sports to mobilize capital towards the development of sports leagues and teams globally.
We have now grown from a focused advisory practice into a recognised firm trusted to guide many of the pivotal transactions and strategic decisions within our industries.
